Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we got to take B to a nearby pumpkin patch and apple orchard for a little weekend playdate with some friends of ours. We all had a good time and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.

What he really had fun with was feeding the goats. They had feed and carrots that you could feed to the animals and the goats would come up and eat it right out of your hand. B just kept saying, "Over here goats, eat more." and "More carrots." He probably would have just stayed there and been more than happy to feed them all day. 

Along with the animal zoo there were tractor rides, carnival rides, a giant bouncy balloon thing, pig races, a giant fort playset (that was hard to pull little man away from) and of course the apple and pumpkin picking.

I would have more pictures, but most of them are on the actual camera and all I have handy at the moment is my phone. Pretty nice pictures for a phone though, don't you think? Gotta love those Apple products. 

Of course we had to pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. We let B decide which one we would take home. He was convinced they were all too big. He just kept walking through the patch saying, "Too big, too big" Eventually we found one that he was satisfied with. Plus I didn't have to haul a giant gourd around all day.

While we were in the pumpkin patch we took a quick detour to the apples. B and I found a good one on a tree to pick. Of course we had to eat it right there. So now we're officially apple thieves.
