According to my parents, this year they had decided that they were going to get a photo done of their two dogs. I'm not sure if they were going to use it as their Christmas card, but the plan was a photo of the two dogs and only the dogs. They dressed them up in matching outfits and went to get the portrait done. Somehow along the way the photographer "talked" my parents into posing with the dogs. They did. They ended up liking the picture so much that that's what they used for their Christmas cards.
Now, I'm all fine and good with my parents and their choice to have a Christmas photo taken with their dogs. However, I have a question... if the plan was to only have a photo taken of the dogs, why are they all wearing matching outfits? Just saying.... I think they need a better story.
